Mapillary street photograph on central Ahuza in Ra’anana

These are real captures near central Ahuza. Capture positions are approximate. Photographs are separate from the reconstructed 3D buildings; they have not been automatically mapped onto façades. Use Previous and Next to step through twelve captures from one journey. Walk here in 3D places you on the nearest mapped street.

BUILT FROM OPEN DATA

A real map.
A reconstructed world.

New gameplay: timed deliveries, vehicle condition, earnings, vehicle theft and an arcade police pursuit. Characters use two textured Microsoft Rocketbox civilian models with blended walking animations. Hebrew building signs use mapped names; sign designs, palm placement and benches are reconstructions.

What follows the map

Street centre-lines, building footprints and parts, courtyard openings, addresses, entrance points, parks and water outlines come from OpenStreetMap. Geographic coordinates are projected into a local WGS84 tangent plane. One game unit equals one metre.

What is approximate

Except for the credited photograph-mapped surfaces, façades, vegetation, street furniture and traffic are procedural interpretations. Unsupported random balconies have been removed. Mapped material and roof tags are retained where available. Heights use OSM height or floor tags where available, with estimates elsewhere. Terrain is flat; bridges and tunnels are not separated vertically. Multipolygon courtyards and mapped building parts now shape both rendering and collisions. Untagged roofs use a flat fallback; pitched roof rises are estimated when absent. Press B for the nearest building’s evidence.

About this build

A desktop, single-player exploration prototype with first-person walking, driver’s-eye and chase cameras, car and building collisions, ambient traffic and a checkpoint tour. It is not a photogrammetric digital twin or a full GTA-scale game.
